The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program helps low-income Kentucky families pay high heating bills. High-energy costs can break a low-income family or force a family to choose between heat and food or medicine.
Program Requirements: To qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Kentucky, and you must need financial assistance for home energy costs.
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Provides families with the tools to become self-sufficient. Goals of this government assistance type financial aid program include providing participants with long term employment, help train clients, and create self-sufficient families.
